Centering Prayer Workshop

freeAre you stuck in a rut with your prayer life? Has your prayer life brought you the peace of Christ? Why not consider a more contemplative approach to prayer? Try attending our Introductory Centering Prayer Workshop, at St. Galls Catholic Community, 1343 Centerville Lane, Gardnerville, NV 89410 on Saturday March 8th from 9:00 – 12:30 pm, in Corinthians Room.
The centering prayer workshop will teach a method of silent prayer as developed by Fr. Thomas Keating O.C.S.O. that is rooted in our Christian contemplative heritage. It is a gentle silent method of consenting to Godʼs presence and healing action within. Come learn more about this prayer that can deepen our relationship with Our Lord.
Coffee and tea will be provided and a brochure on Centering Prayer. Participants are invited to bring a food item to share. Fr Keatingʼs book “Open Mind Open Heart” will be available for cash purchase. There will be follow-up sessions with video presentations from Fr. Keating O.C.S.O., on four consecutive Saturday morning thereafter, 9:30am – 11am.
