Walk to Mary Across America, Northern Nevada

We walk in Reno in union with the pilgrims that walk to the Shrine of Our Lady of Champion in Wisconsin.  This Shrine is the site of the only Church approved Marian Apparition in the United States.

Adele Brise, the young immigrant woman who saw Our Lady in 1859 in rural Wisconsin,  never swayed from her mission to teach the children the Catholic faith, no matter the hardship. She carried the messages of salvation, healing and grace on the back of her perseverance. This awe-inspiring determination continues to captivate the faithful, guiding them to the National Shrine of Our Lady of Champion on their spiritual journeys. It is the Walk to Mary’s intention to continue the mission she started.
