Do you believe in miracles?

Yes.

The Catholic Church believes that miracles can occur and are understood as extraordinary events, perceptible to the senses, and wrought by God. As such, a miracle is something that occurs beyond the ordinary powers of natural forces.

Such supernatural signs occur both in biblical and documented historical contexts. Miracles are intended to strengthen faith through revelation of God’s providential and compassionate presence in, as well as authority over, our world. Miracles can also be revelations of divine truths, such as the Resurrection of Jesus revealing his victory over the forces of sin and death.

However, the Catholic Church does not require that a person believe in reported non-biblical miracles. Such belief may be publicly permitted when miraculous events have been thoroughly researched and authenticated but is not necessary since non-biblical miracles do not constitute the Deposit of Faith handed on by Jesus to the Apostles and their successors.
